INTERNATIONAL 3 METER |
|
3 Meter NewsBy Ben Kuhner We have four people who are consistent racers, one fellow who I think will become a consistent racer and about five people who race on a some-time basis. We continue to look for new racers. Any club member who wants to try racing or sailing a 3 Meter should give me a call as we can arrange to get a boat to try out. Max Heller and his wife Leni have two boats stored on land at the locked area at Sand Point. When they want to go sailing they just roll the boats into the water and go. They like this arrangement quite well and receive many requests for information about the boats. While making big boats go fast is always a thrill, racing 3 Meters is simple, exciting and pure by always showing the racer exactly how he or she is doing because of the one design aspect.
