May 29-31 Swiftsure Even if you dont race come for the show June 19-20 Blake Island Fathers Day Take Dad for a cruise or have the kids take you July 3 Fireworks at Poulsbo Raft up for the show. There is lots of good anchoring with easy access to the shore so friends can join us. July 4 Fireworks at Quartermaster Harbor For those who didnt get enough on the 3rd July 17-18 Tri Dyes at Dyes Inlet. Silverdale Marina for dockside moorage and Greg Jacobs house for those who want to anchor out. Dyes Inlet is right next to Bremerton July 24 Beginning of annual San Juan and Gulf Islands cruise. Leaving from Bellingham or Blaine. Some US waypoints will be Sucia Island and San Juan Island with a stop at Sidney for customs before going to Cow Bay for the regatta July 30- Aug 1 Cow Bay Regatta Racing is not required to enjoy this and it is the starting point of the annual Gulf Islands and North Cruise August 2- Gulf Islands and North Cruise We will be exploring the Gulf Islands and possibly get as far as Desolation Sound Sept 11-12 Brownsville Easy to get to, great docks and we have the picnic shelter with BBQ and heaters Please call me at twozerosix threeninenine thirteenninenine with any questions or requests or email dkmatdrumatgmaildotcom Thanks to David Miller, Rear Commodore, for some great times NWMA Summer 2009 Cruising ScheduleNWMA Rendezvous/Cruising Schedule 2009

The Seattle Yacht Club has invited us to participate in the opening day activities. You can enter boats, or if you do not wish to bring your boat there are a limited number of spaces aboard Seattle Yacht Club boats. RSVP is requested by March 31st. Please contact Mike or Steve if you have any questions or if you would like to make reservations.
Phone Pt. Ludlow Marina at 1-800-308-7991 and give them a credit card # to reserve your spot. Tell them youre with NWMA.
We have 5 tent sites at Sucia.
The Anacortes Arts Festival is adding a new event this year. It's the first
Anacortes Arts Festival Regatta. We would like to have a link added to the NWMA info
site
and we would like to have all our multihull friends come up and play.

Rear Commodore Harry Abbott announced Bill and Karen Dean of "Seafire" as the "Cruiser of the Year". Proof that they earned the award was that they were not present to accept. Read all about their adventure at www.dayshaw.net/seafire/
At the club meeting held on December 21st the club voted Harry Abbott as the "Cruiser of the Year". Congratulations to Harry (and Mary too) for his accomplishments.
